Fun Facts

Turbo was rescued from a life lived 7/24 on a 3′ x 5′ concrete slab with little human interaction, malnourished, covered in parasites, and afraid of the world. His first human surrendered him to us when we presented our older Golden, a Therapy dog, and surfing dog, and said this was the kind of life we would provide, that he would never lack for anything he needed or wanted. With his discovery of love and affection, came a magical transformation; he became Turbo.

Turbo participated in a swimmer’s rescue when he happened to be surfing nearby. The swimmer in distress, who had been pulled out by a rip current was nearing exhaustion. His surfboard was used to transport the panicking victim safely back toward shore, and with him aboard for comfort and stability of the board, the swimmer was unharmed.

Favorite Hobbies:

Surfing, Swimming, Fundraising and awareness-raising for animal causes, Foster “brother” for a local rescue, especially gifted at interaction with very ill or severely injured dogs who require long-term foster care and medical attention.
